Andy Bohli

CEO and Owner, Cingerine

Andy W. Bohli was born in 1970 in Zurich, Switzerland. Throughout his career, he has specialized in content creation for television and commercial clients, as well as software development for Switzerland's largest retailer. In 1997, Andy joined Switzerland's pay TV channel, Teleclub, as the Technical Director, playing a key role in the channel's initial transition from analog to digital broadcasting.

In 2000, he co-founded Imaculix, a company focused on producing content and tools for the movie industry. By 2006, Imaculix had launched the first online trailer portal for Universal Pictures and Walt Disney Studios in Switzerland. Imaculix was responsible for the first worldwide installation of the 4K 3D CinemaLED ONYX by Samsung, marking a significant milestone in cinema technology.

Responding to customer demands for a reliable and user-friendly signage system, Andy Bohli and his team released the Cingerine Digital Signage System. This system is designed for large-scale digital signage deployments that require seamless integration of live information into a dynamic customer experience.

Since 2013, Andy Bohli and Cingerine have further innovated with a digital signage content management system that is fully integrated, flexible, and highly scalable. Cingerine now serves multilingual and international audiences, offering complex and agile data-driven playout structures. It is used on thousands of screens across Switzerland, Europe, and the Middle East, in the entertainment, retail media, and digital-out-of-home (DOOH) verticals. Cingerine has won several awards, with the most recent accolades received in 2024.
