Dirk has a background in graphic design with a strong focus on temporary architecture. He graduated from Bremen's University of the Arts. Following his thesis, which was an experiential 360-degree film studying the history of scenography, he worked as a freelancer for various companies. Between 2009 and 2012, Dirk was in charge of various film productions and interactive projects as Art Director. These endeavours explored both virtual and spatial spheres.? In June 2012, Dirk Ostkamp started at TMS as Art Director, leading both creative and technical portions of projects be they international museums or trade fairs. Since January 2019, he has taken over the role of technical direction for all projects at TMS. His great interests revolve around further exploring interactivity and generative real-time applications in spatial contexts.
