Carles Gómara is a professional with more than 25 years of experience in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).
Passionate about digital transformation and the latest technology trends that are shaping the future of society and business. He has expertise in topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its Ethics, Industry4.0, 5G solutions, Blockchain and Metaverse.
He holds a degree in computer science from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain, and a master’s degree in business administration from ESADE and Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina, USA.
He started his career in 1994 at Getronics, a multinational company that provides ICT solutions and services. In 2001, he joined ACCIÓ, the public agency of the Catalan government that supports the competitiveness of Catalan companies and organizations. He works as an expert in digital transformation helping companies to innovate and grow in the global market.
