Bastien REMY works as a Policy Officer in the European Commission. He is responsible for covering the audiovisual industries as a whole, including video games and news media. He engages stakeholders, monitors market developments and conceives funding solutions to support the competitiveness of the European industry. Prior to this, he spent three years in the Spokesperson’s Service of the European Commission, before joining the Cabinet of former President Jean-Claude Juncker, and later writing speeches for European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Affairs Nicolas Schmit.
